Fibreglass Composite Panels

Fibreglass Composite Panels Fibreglass Composite Panels

Fibreglass structural cored composite panels are designed for use in all industrial applications where immense strength and stiffness is required.

Fibreglass structural cored composite panels have been developed using varying thicknesses of fibreglass grating sandwiched between two layers of 6mm to 12mm thickness fibreglass solid plate bonded to each side of the grating. The top fibreglass plate of the composite panel is usually supplied with agritted surface to give an excellent anti-slip surface. The bottom fibreglass plate surface is normally supplied smooth.

The use of fibreglass grating as a core material for composite panels reduces lightweight corrosion resiatant panels that are relatively low in cost when compared to more exotic composite constructions. The cost can be favourably compared to more conventional construction materials and typically weigh 30% of comparable products made from concrete or steel.
